Welcome to Adssmith (the "Service"). This Service is developed and operated by an individual independent developer ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and comply with the FTC's privacy protection principles.

By using Adssmith, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

Account Data: Name, email address, and authentication tokens (e.g., from Google OAuth).
Billing Data: Transaction records processed through third-party payment processors (Stripe/Creem). We do not store full credit card numbers.

1.2 User-Generated Content & Inputs

Inputs: Brand URLs, text prompts, and design preferences you provide.
Outputs: Marketing copy and images generated by the Service.
Note: Your inputs are sent to third-party AI service providers for processing.

1.3 Usage & Technical Data

Device Info: IP address, browser type, operating system.
Usage Data: Interaction history, feature usage, and generation counts.

2. How We Use Your Information

Service Delivery: To generate content and analyze brand identity.
Optimization: To improve our UI and internal workflows (anonymized usage data).
Security: To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and illegal activities.

3. Third-Party AI Services

Adssmith acts as an interface for third-party AI models.

Data Sharing: When you submit a prompt or request a generation, your input data is transmitted to third-party AI providers.
No Direct Control: These third parties have their own privacy policies. We take measures to ensure data is transmitted securely but do not control the internal data retention policies of these providers.
Sensitive Info: DO NOT input highly sensitive personal data, trade secrets, or confidential information into the Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:

With Third-Party AI Providers to generate your requested content.
With Payment Processors to handle subscriptions.
With Cloud Infrastructure Providers for storage and hosting.
To comply with legal obligations, subpoenas, or court orders.

5. Your Rights and Global Compliance

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

Right to Access/Delete: Request a copy of or the deletion of your personal data.
Right to Opt-Out: We do not sell data, but you may opt-out of certain data sharing where applicable.

5.2 "Do Not Track" Disclosure

We honor applicable legal privacy rights. However, since there is no consistent industry standard for responding to browser-based "Do Not Track" signals, we do not currently change our data collection practices in response to such signals.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under 13.

Deletion Mechanism: If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

Retention: Data is kept while your account is active or as needed for legal reasons.
Security: We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS). As an individual developer, we utilize trusted third-party infrastructure but cannot guarantee 100% absolute security.

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
